No plausible explanation for the delay in FIR has been brought on record. Even while appearing before the learned trial Court the prosecution witnesses did not utter even a single word about the above said delay. Therefore, we hold that this delay in setting the machinery of law into motion speaks volume against the veracity of prosecution version.
