Principle of law that the last seen evidence is a weakest type of evidence

made to the case of Altaf Hussain v. Fakhar Hussain and another (2008 SCMR 1103) wherein the Hon’ble Supreme Court of Pakistan observed as under:-

“It is settled principle of law that the last seen evidence is a weakest type of evidence unless corroborated with some other piece of evidence which is conspicuously missing in this case.”
