Reliance is placed on the case law reported as “Akhtar Ali and others v. State” (PLJ 2008 SC 269). It has also been held by the Hon’ble Supreme Court of Pakistan in the case of “Iftikhar Hussain and others v. The State” (2004 SCMR 1185) that:-

“That eye witnesses who are disbelieved against some accused persons attributed active and effective roles cannot be believed against the other accused persons.”
