All the above mentioned facts reflected vividly that FIR was
lodged with a considerable delay after due deliberation and consultation
making preliminary inquiry, which discarded the whole story of
prosecution with regard to occurrence as well as presence of
eyewitnesses at the spot. Reliance can be placed on the cases of
Muhammad Rafique versus The State (2014 SCMR 1698), Muhammad
Rafique and others versus The State and others (2010 SCMR 385) and
Hadayatullah versus Abdul Hameed and another (1984 SCMR 119)
