Documents in Police File :-

*Police file actually is a whole departmental proceedings of police during the investigation of any criminal case.*

Police file is a private file of police station and it is not accessible to accused person for his defence.

U/S 172 CrPC barred the accused person to the access of Police daily Diaries which is also the part of Police file.

*There are following documents which are the part of every police File .*

1 : Index of whole documents

2 : Confrentation meetings in police station which are written by IO on a specific page as well as zimnies

3 : Hukem Nama Talbi Freeq (حکمنانہ طلبی فریقین)

4 : List of all persons who joined investigation from complainant side

5 : List of all persons who joined investigation from accused side

6 : Robkars of Counsel as well as court for that accused persons who apply their pre Arrest bail.

7 : Necessary informations from Nadra / Nadra Record/ Geo Fencing Record / Record of Phone calls etc for the purpose to search or arrest accused persons.

8 : Statements U/S 161 CrPC of all the witnesses of Case plus Boiled statements (بیان بددریافت)

9 : Road Certificates for any material sent to PFSA (*This document is also the part of Challan as well as Judicial File) *

8 : Unscaled skectch plan of place of occurrence prepared by IO during his first visit (*This document is also the part of challan as well as Judicial file) *

9 : Attested copy FIR ( *2 Attested copies will prepare , 1 attached with police file and other attached with challan as well as judicial file).*

10 : All Recovery Memos i.e Recovery memo of blood stained earth , recovery memo of crime emties , recovery memo of last worn clothes of deceased, recovery memo of recovered weapon etc ( *Orignal Hand written Recovery memo’s will be the part of Challan as well as judicial file and carbon copies of the same will be the part of police file) *

11 : Scaled Sketch plan of place of occurrence (*orignal hand written will be the part of Challan as well as judicial file or carbon copy of the same will be the part of police file)*

12 : Inquest Report of dead body u/s 174 CrPC (*Original hand written will be the part of Challan as well as judicial file or carbon copy of the same will be the part of police file only) *

13 : Post Mortem Report of Dead body or MLC of any injured victem (*Orignal will be the part of Challan as well as judicial file and carbon copy of the same will be the part of Police file only)*

14 : Application for post mortem of deceased written by IO (*Orignal will be the part of Challan as well as judicial file , Carbon copy of the same will be the part of police file)*

15 : Remand paper (پرچہ ریمانڈ) (Remand paper consists of Application for judicial / physical remand plus order of Judicial Megistrate) [*orignal will be the part of challan as well as judicial file) This document at the time of preparation of Challan (Police Report) will be transposed to Challan File as well as judicial File and no more into police file. ]*

16: Proclamation proceedings of absconded accused persons plus proclaimation notice plus proclaimation Report as well as non bailable warrants (*Orignal will be the part of Challan as well as Judicial File, This Document at the time of preparation of Challan (Police Report ) will be transposed to Challan as well as judicial File and no more be the part of police file)*

17 : Skecth plan of place of Recovery of Weapon (*Orignal will be the part of Challan as well as judicial file and carbon copy of the same will be the part of Police File)*

18 : Progress Report of Police Station

19 : PFSA Reports (*The Orignal will be the part of Challan as well as judicial file. This document at the time of Preparation of Challan (Police Report) be transpossed to Challan as well as judicial File and no more part of Police File. )*

20 : All Daily Diaries (Ziminies) (رپورٹ ضمنی اندرونی ، رپورٹ ضمنی بیرونی, چالانی ضمنی) written by IO of the Case during day by day investigation.
